First introduced in 1954, TV Yellow grew to become one of the most popular colors of that era.  This particular color was popularized when musicians realized that on black and white televisions, white finishes appeared overpoweringly bright.  Even though it’s not white, TV Yellow would soften the harsh brightness on screen and would make the instrument appear to be a truer white while on TV.  The TV Yellow finish by Nitorlack beautifully recreates this classic finish popularized by Gibson®. however, the final appearance will depend on the type of wood used as well as the finishing process that follows.
